Smyrna named Top 10 City to retire in

5 posts in this topic

No joke...I just heard on Channel 5 that Smyrna has been chosen in the Top 10 cities in the United States to retire because of their 10 parks, golf course, state of the art hospital and cost of living. I don't have a link yet, but I'm sure it will be in tomorrow's Tennessean.

I live in Smyrna and like it ok, but top 10 in the US? I'm still laughing.

I agree with Justiceham. Smyrna's got their stuff together in a way that most suburban towns don't. I applaude this!

I find this hard to believe. Smyrna has changed a lot the past 20 years, but I don't know if that's where I'd want to spend my golden years.
