More corruption under Perez

I have never said the City should pay for the Arena. I feel the State needs to absorb as much as they can, Hartford should be its crown jewel.

If they didn't care they wouldn't have pump a boat load of money into Hartford recently. Obviously the crown jewel of the investment - Front Street, is a total bust, so it is less than likely that State will be sanguine about footing the bill for the arena. Of course having a combative mayor that takes a confrontational approach with the State does not help.

The convention center is doing surprisingly well surprising. So is the attached Marriott. The Science Center should also be a hit. It already looks very cooll and that just the steel.

Front Street is lagging. But to call it a total bust is extreme.
