Sorry weird wording. There is 5000 SF of retail on the ground that is currently being planned as a hotel bar/restaurant but they may outsource the space to a 3rd party. Still restaurant use though

IMO, Raleigh is better off. Charlotte may get a lot of buildings, but more often than not they don't contribute positively to the urban environment. A lot of people are excited about this one because the rendering looks snazzy with the sun setting in the east and copious amounts of faux lens flair.

Awesome design. I love how they are squeezing buildings on land uptown in certain areas. One day the land uptown within 277 will all be gone. Can you imagine. Just hope I live to see it.

They are test blasting tomorrow. From what I've heard from folks involved, they're moving at a breakneck speed to attempt to finish by the all star game. This thing should fly up but good luck to them getting it open by then
