There used to be many places to get breakfast after the clubs let out and in all my years in PVD i never had to leave the city. Til development drove out the silver top type diners (by the mall, and at Eagle Square)

You just made me cry. I loved the Silver Top and spent many a late night there (they were a swing shift diner). I want to kick a 903 developer every time I drive by the unused triangle parking lot at the east end of the 903 lot. That space is wasted now and the Silver Top could still be there.

It's not gone completely, it's just moved to Pawtucket. Not entirely sure where, though.

Proposed 6-story Promenade Hotel is being designed by Architectura (architecturainc.com), same architect who did Conley's Wharf, Providence Piers (with Dock Conley), & Warwick Fire station Headquarters.
