Costco Coming to Knoxville

Costco will open it's first location in Knoxville at the corner or Campbell Station Rd. and Parkside in the Turkey Creek area. Grading has already started. What do you guys think about its affect on nearby competitors?

I am not familar with the local market, but I would think a Costco would do very well in a market the size of Knoxville.

What is the word on this location? It doesn't show on Costco's website and searches don't reveal anything but speculation.

The News Sentinental had an article stating that Costco had contacted a realtor about a site but nothing further gas developed.

"David Brooks, the owner of Valley Real Estate Services, said Monday that he recently had the listing for a property near the Lovell Road-Kingston Pike intersection, behind Walgreens, and that Costco had showed interest in it."
