They did a segment on Dubai and the sheik. That place is sick with growth. They showed one of the islands that they built and it was a ghost town and the reporter commented as such. They also stated that Dubai takes in 25,000 new people every month looking for jobs, so they may eventually fill in those skyscrapers. What no one realizes is that Dubai was always there. Someone finally read the fine print that said to add water.

I thought they were actually adding sand and rock, to build islands and extend their coastal boundaries. Like the 'map of the world' atoll-thing they're building.
