Cool, though would be more meaningful to see these adjusted against the Costs of Living of their respective areas (as an $800K shack in L.A. is really not comparable to an $800K mansion in Dallas or Atlanta, for example).

Even though things are really expensive in Honolulu the number of million dollar homes is pretty darn high for a metro of less than a million. However, now a days most of the million dollar homes being built are on the other islands like Maui and parts of the Big Island.
