The George Rickey exhibit started late September and runs through Dec. 31st at Meijer Gardens. It's an amazing exhibit, with some of his works scattered throughout the entire gardens area and in the main galleries, 50 pieces total. We went today and my kids loved it. All of his work uses kinetic energy and the pieces spin and sway constantly in the wind (and with fans blowing in the gallery), but ever so slowly and not the same way every time. It's mesmerizing. Weather is supposed to be nice this weekend, so if you're looking for something to do, check it out.

Here's a little video about Rickey and his work. Apparently his father was a clock maker.
