I agree that Avondale has enormous potential for redevelopment and becoming a great neighborhood again. Birmingham's close-in neighborhoods have a lot of character and it's great to see people moving back in and renovating houses in those neighborhoods.

That interesting developments as Avondale is making a slow start towards a big turn around. I remember when that Parkside business was still development, and it is a quite a unique business for the community.

I'm looking forward to development on Clairmont between 34th and 36th. Has there been any press about the project recently? All those apartments have been vacant since I moved here and I think its about time something starts happening...
