204 more housing units coming downtown

The River Market gets yet another loft project, this one is located right next to the planned East River Market redevelopment project which is expected to build over 1,000 units by 2010.

This project will be 204 units, and will be in the Kansas City Cold Storage & Ice Company building at 500 E. Third St.

They expect the conversion to be completed by March of 2006. And will cost about 30 million dollars.

Gary Hassenflu of Garrison Development Co. in Prairie Village, KS is developing the project.
