I don't subscribe so can't read the content. But this seems significant?

here is the key points and it not adjacent to camp northend more within a 1 mile.

""New York City-based Spandrel Development Partners has its second Charlotte apartment project in the works.  The developer closed earlier this month on the acquisition of 19.1 acres near Camp North End, according to Mecklenburg County real estate records. Capstone Land Sales helped brokered the $4.4 million sale of the property at 3245 Statesville Ave.   Ian Levine, Spandrel partner and co-founder, was not available today to discuss the plans, but a rezoning petition filed with the city of Charlotte in July 2021 outlines Spandrel's plan for a multifamily development with up to 350 units at the site. Charlotte City Council approved the petition in March. ""

Does anyone know what's going on here on Statesville between Callahan and Oaklawn?  I attended a zoning meeting a few years ago about a mixed used apartment and retail project that was supposed to go here but i'm not sure if it got approved.

Also Camp Northend is putting up fencing near the corner of Sylvania Ave and Statesville like they're about to break ground on another phase.

Ledger reports permits filed for new apartments for Camp North End.

""Camp North End last week received two building permits totaling an estimated $65M in construction costs for what appears to be around a couple hundred apartments.

The apartments are referred to as “Kinship East” and “Kinship West” in the building permit documents, and they are listed as being on Razades Way. That’s on the southern portion of Camp North End, around the corner from what are known as the Keswick food stalls and beside the building containing Leah & Louise, a Southern-style restaurant that gets mostly positive reviews on Yelp.  ATCO told The Ledger last year that it had tentative plans for 300 apartments and was considering starting them by the end of 2022.""

Excited to see these start. One will be connected to the Southside of the parking deck and the other will be right across Razades way where they cut a large section out of the existing building. Should get some excellent views of the skyline from them.

"...that gets mostly positive reviews on Yelp."

Isn't Leah & Louise award-winning, nationally-renowned, highly-acclaimed...:tw_joy:
