Pardon my ignorance but what does one do at an Elks Club? Back in South Texas the Elks Club consist of Elderly men sitting around talking about about of nothing and smoking Cigars and avoiding the wives, is this the same thing?

My Grandparents are members of the ELKS in my hometown, as far as I know, they are both members. They do volunteer work, host events, etc. etc.

What is meant by redevelopment? Theres only a lodge there right now correct?

correct. they're hoping to alter the complex somewhat to make the most of the property.
