With the addition of two Microtel Inns and Suites hotels Texarkana is continuing it's trend of economic growth and development. A 63 room hotel will be built on the Arkansas side and an 83 room hotel will be built on the Texas side. Both hotels will be built north of I-30. The Arkansas location will start construction in the spring and be finished by the end of 2008 and the Texas location is planned for spring 2009.
