I made this list to convince my wife to take a pleasure trip to a restaurant on the train (she supports transit, but will scoff at me wanting to go out of the way to use it). I figured it would be a good start to a thread on restaurants, bars, shops, and other destinations on the Lynx Blue Line. This list is initially just a list of restaurants, which once you get down into, you'll see it is not discerning in any way. Maybe you all can post recommendations of places to go, and by no means should the topic be limited to restaurants:

I think you covered everything there! Since I live in the Univ Area, it's a little more inconvenient since i have to drive past uptown and park. Anyway, this weekend I plan on driving and parking around E/W Blvd and taking it in to 3rd St Station and go ice skating at the Green and then take it back to the end of the line to go to Steak & Shake. That S&S has some past history late night outings from a few years ago, so it has a spot in my heart :thumbsup: . I love Pikes at E/W Blvd station and have once already and plan on using that stop as well as events in uptown to do an eat at Pikes/train to uptown for events also. I look forward more to when more opens along the line particularly in areas south of S. End. Aside from S&S, I only find myself riding the length to 485 for enjoyment.

This thread is a great idea. I don't have a destination to add just yet, but I have a suggestion. Can these suggestions be turned into a Spreadsheet (or a Wiki might work too). I'm not sure how the Wiki's work. Can any of us add to it once it's created? I seem to remember some restriction on those on here; like paying members. So, I guess I'm asking someone to pay for the priviledge of compiling this list. =)

I will get a wiki entry for this up and edit the first post with a link to it when completed. To answer your question about who can edit it, a wiki entry can be created/edited by anyone with at least 100 posts (which you just made, congrats!) or has a paid membership.
