Considering the recent posts about our school system and the interest that people even in other parts of the state have in it, I would like to start this thread for anyone to share their ideas to improve it.

I must admit, if I share my ideas I will only offend. This is too touchy of a subject for me to really post my ideas, but I would live to hear the ideas of other people who are probably much more qualified than I.

It wouldn't be a bad idea if Herenton would take some initiative, and add a little of his money to the school system. Just a thought.........

It all has to do with social issues that I could write a book about, but the one thing that'll help the start is parental involvement.

My personal opinion....if you bring a gun to school, find another school system to attend because you'll be permanently expelled.

If you are caught with drugs at school, find another school system to attend because you'll be permanently expelled.

If you assault a teacher, find another school system to attend because you'll be permanently expelled.

If you hang a noose at school, find another school system to attend because you'll be permanently expelled.

If your parents can't move to the county or afford the county's out of district tuition, tough luck.
