This is awesome... I guess if we don't have enough old historical stuff in downtown Nashville, we can just go and transport some from other cities lol.

Gibson Guitar Inc. has transported a 1926 candy store from Michigan to Nashville and will reopen it in January on Lower Broadway.

Diana's Sweet Shoppe operated in Port Huron, Mich., from 1926-2001. Gibson acquired the shop and is reassembling the interior at 315 Broadway, next to Hatch Show Print.

New Harley Davidson retail store is to open on 2nd Ave. Boswells is opening this. No cycle sales just smaller retail items.

Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville is spending $3.6 mil to rehab a building that is valued at only $2.6 mil ... the old Planet Hollywood, and old Global Cafe.

This will be a destination for the tourist trade or maybe Predators fans before a game, but I can't see the locals heading down to Lower Broadway for this establishment and this establishment alone. They will do good business in the summer.

Puckett's is set to open Nov 5, at 500 Church St.. which I think is the St. Cloud Corner building?

They are currently hiring, as is Margaritaville.

I've heard there is a little grilled-cheese sandwich place going in on 4th Ave between Church and Commerce next to Subway in the former Krayp Kafe location. They have been doing some work on that unit the past few days.
