Battery Park Town Center is a planned 125-acre retail and residential development located on Clemson Boulevard above I-85 at the corner of Welpine Road.

Anderson Independent-Mail (2007-12-17): There is financial difficulty funding the realignment of Welpine Road in with Clemson Boulevard. The project was recently delayed because the cost takes up most of the returning gas money for Anderson County.
