What Does Downtown Need?

What is something downtown Muskegon needs? I'm sure everyone has a hundred ideas of what they think downtown needs. A common one mentioned often is a downtown grocery store.

Personally, I'd like to see a clothing store, specifically a men's clothing store. I think there could be a real market for a mens clothing store because there seems to be a lack of selection of mens clothes elsewear. Most clothing stores are either for women only or have women and mens clothing, but usually a larger womens selection. I'd like more clothing options then deciding if I want to go to JC Pennys or Yonkers. A unique clothing store could be a draw for people who can't find what they want at the mall.

Please tell the forum what you would like to see downtown.

A good coffee shop tops my list. Downtown employees and residents constantly complain when in conversation about planning a quick meeting, or meeting with friends that there is no where quick and easy to meet up.

A downtown business owner currently also is campaigning for a Trader Joe's so I know that sentiment is out there as well.
