South Main Photo Thread - Memphis

Back in the July I was in Memphis for the weekend and had time early one Saturday morning to spend 4 hours walking the city taking photos. The photos in this thread are primarily from the South Main area of the city which is seeing a lot of redevelopment and activity. Very lively place in some areas. Enjoy!

Old South Memphis Post Office on Calhoun- USPS Sorting facility off image to the left. These sorting facility sit where the old Union Station used to stand before it was razed in 1969. For a picture and info on the Union Station facility check out the Wikipedia article .
