SC Cities on Live Search Maps

Have y'all checked out Columbia on Live Search Maps yet? Just type "Columbia, South Carolina" in the search box and click. You can choose aerial or bird's eye views. Greenville and Charleston are on it, too. It's interesting how much space the different cities' downtowns take up on the map from the sky at various distances. Columbia's is immense, and that's excluding Five Points and West Vista.

I don't know about everyone else, but I've always considered downtown Columbia to be the original 4 square miles of the city bounded by the river, Elmwood, Whaley and Harden. The CBD, of course, is a much smaller area. I'd love to see the day when downtown Columbia has 100,000 residents.

I noticed Spartanburg was on there a while back, and I completely forgot to make a post about it. Thanks for the reminder. I haven't checked to see if the entire state is on there. I'm going to move this one to the main SC forum for all to see :)
