Adult Education Classes

...they're missing in Greenville...

I live in Greer and was dumbfounded to learn that I couldn't take any Adult Ed classes at the HS in the evenings. I called around, and none of the HS have classes.

Will there be adult classes anywhere soon?

And I'm not talking about Furman and credited courses. I'm talking about Adult Ed classes!

I'm not sure I've ever heard of such a thing. What do they educate you about? You can take courses at Tech that aren't for credit. They are usually pretty inexpensive.

They don't seem to offer them here like I have seen in other areas.

The adult ed classes are less formal, and topics like foreign language, computers, travel, history, art, photography, etc.

The closest I've seen are the community education classes through Greenville Tech.
