Favorite New Condo or Residential Tower

I think that since there are so many new condominiums and new housing complexes under construction or on the way, that it is possible to have a pretty large discussion of favorites. The buildings can be either in Jax or Jax Beach, but mixed use buildings with lofts do not count.

My favorite the Peninsula, because it looks like it has countless ammenities to offer its occupants.

My favorite would be the 31 story old JEA tower restoration and expansion. I like this one because it is located on the Northbank, in a dead section of downtown, away from the river, and the developer has stated that he will pay for it himself, without city incentives. It also will include a roof top restaurant and ground floor retail. I think it will fit well with the Modis and BOA towers as well as anchor the NW side of the downtown core.

I think that I like the whole Shipyard complex because of the location and size of the project.

Also, I forgot about the beaches. Toward the beaches community, I like the new Aquilus tower being constructed. It will look nice where it is being built.

I had forgotten about many of the downtown buildings when i made my decision. I also like the Shipyards project because it is huge. I like the look of the former JEA building too. There are just so many new developements it's hard to keep track.

That is true but what do you think of the projects at the beaches. Which is your favorite?

As far as Jax Beach goes, I like the Metropolitan, because even though its only about 8 or 9 stories, it looks pretty urban and its going to have street level retail and restaurant space along First St.

That is a very nice design actually. What is your favorite building already constructed at the beaches?

My favorite already completed in Jax Beach is the Landmark Oceanfront because I think it looks pretty good for an ocean front condo tower.

For some reason i like The Water's Edge complex at the beach. I don't know if it falls into the already built or being developed category, but it is my favorite thus far.

I like 11E Forsyth, because they remodeled an old building and it looks very nice! I wish I could see the interior.
