Ch. 4 Nashville airs anti-gay report

WSMV Ch. 4, the local Nashville NBC affiliate, aired a report overtly trying to fire a gay man for making a few phone calls while on the job in his spare time to organize Nashville Pride.

If he's doing his job - why is this a problem? I think we know the real answer...

I am not sure, but could there possibly be another reason that he was fired? I mean immediately jumping to conclusions that it was done intentionally because he is gay or affiliated with gays is not exactly fair.
