Major fire in Monte Carlo Hotel Tower

It appears that no one has been seriously hurt. Good news, but this does raise more questions about fire safety in these enormous buildings.

What's the status of the Monte Carlo? Has it been fixed. I was in Vegas the day it caught on fire and all of it's guests were shipped over to our hotel at the MGM. That was a little annoying. It was a sight to see it all burned out in the I-15 side. And it was closed that whole weekend, but I haven't heard anything since.

As far as I know, the work is underway. I'm not sure when it will be completed.
