Maryland State House Renovations Begin in April

The first comprehensive renovation of the Maryland State House in over 100 years is scheduled to begin in April, after the closing of the current legislative session. The State House will receive new plumbing and wiring, in addition to the restoration of the historic legislative chamber. The renovations are expected to be complete in December- just in time for the start of the 2009 legislative session.
