Thanks. They seem to update their feed after the fact. I can't find anything listing upcoming scheduling.

they do tweet it out and there is some coordination with Charlotte Center City partners too for big events and special events.

The whole pedestrian street concept there would be amazing for arena events, particularly if the Hornets ever get good.

Just a random thought with no real basis in reality but what if Spectrum decided to move its headquarters to Charlotte, what better place than across from the arena?  I am really curious as to who would submit an unsolicited bid for that property when there are many available sites downtown.

I was thinking that too, until I realized this actually IS probably the best available site downtown not already under control.

Atlrvr's rank ordering of best undeveloped office sites:

1) Stonewall and Tryon - Lincoln Harris owned and LU4/5 site

2) 501 S Tryon - Duke Energy looks full speed ahead

3) 400 N Tryon - Bank of America/city/county owned.  RFP's submitted.  Very complex deal with multiple parties.

4) CTC - CATS/city owned.

5) Church/4th - First Citizens Bank owned for ~30 years.  Not sure what their long term intent is, but footprint smaller side making office expensive.

6) Trade/5th/Poplar/Pine - Church owned, who has shown little interest from multiple developer inquiries.

7) Hal Marshall - County owned.  They will want 7th/Tryon developed first.

8) Random parking deck redevelopment along Church....all likely to be developed by current owner of the office buildings they serve due to extreme logistics challenges.

9) NCRR site adjacent to CTC.  More valuable AFTER CTC us developed.

10) block surrounded by 3rd, mint, poplar, 4th.  - investor owned, but suspect pricing expectations not realistic.  

So, realistically, on my top 10, CTC is one of maybe 2-3 sites that an office developer could acquire, and by far the best site.

Duke Energy bunker and data center don't make this list as it's not offered yet, and the lead time way too far in the future for any current tenant demand.

Charter's building a new HQ building in Stamford, they probably won't move any time soon.

^^^ Here is one site to add to the list is the older parking garage behind the Marriott and 101 Independence Center this is owned by Spectrum and could easily accommodate a 30-40 story tower or more.  Photos from today from Church St.

I am thinking that was correct and it was for Ivey's department store but I may be mistaken.

couple from N Tryon and I do remember when the first office tower since the 2009 recession was started and it was the 300 South Tryon Barings building still beautiful and a great addition to our skyline.  Today.

Charlotte Center City Partners coordinates the building lights for major city-wide events, but at other times each building goes on their own. You can contact them directly (704) 332-2227

Cousins Properties has completed its merger with Tier Reit. Cousins will now own an additional 900,000 square feet of office at Bank of America Plaza. Charlotte has reaffirmed itself as Cousins's 3rd largest and most important market.
