Hang in there lighthousedave. GRPS suffers from a very sensationalist media reporting that can't wait to stir something up and / or play up the negative. The new union president seems to want to play to the media based on my observations. The old adage you get more flies with honey than vinegar still applies. I had to deal with a chief union steward for a few years who's favorite activity was to stick it in management's face. He's one of the reasons I left the position I had. I got tired of the bull****. Metro area folks have got to learn that as goes the core city and schools, so goes the area. I don't know what the solutions are but accept my sincere thanks for trying to make the system better.
