Superbowl in Nashville?

Not there is any serious discussion on the NFL's part about this, but today would have been a great day. Especially compared to last years hurricane in Miami.

The NFL did talk about hosting one in an open air, cold climate venue. Could Nashville pull it off?

The NFL won't put it in a place that has a chance of cold weather unless it has a dome. I don't think we'll see a dome built any time soon so I wouldn't hold my breath for a Nashville Superbowl. Other than the weather, stadium, we don't have enough hotel rooms.

And according to the weather channel, the average high in February is 52F, though I imagine it's lower if one looks only at early February. I've always thought the temperature standards were a little silly, and could be relaxed a little... after all, some of the most famous playoff games in NFL history were played in outdoor venues in places like Green Bay and Foxborough. But I guess they have to keep all the big-wig high-spenders warm and comfy...
