A new retail-office-residential complex planned along Interstate 10 between Fremaux Avenue and Old Spanish Trail in Slidell would be the first such development in the New Orleans area, providing residents with the means to live, work, dine and shop in one central location and setting the stage for Slidell to become a regional retail hub.

WOW!!! This is going to be a huge development, and a great addition to the region. I am all for more shopping options here in Slidell. I'm hoping we can land a Macy's or a Kohl's. I wonder what this will mean for Northshore Square as well. It's a fine mall, but it is somewhat outdated. Maybe the owners will go the same direction they are in Hammond.

Really neat project. It reminds me of Juban Crossing going up in Denham Springs, although this might be bigger.
