Powdersville Furniture Warehouse has good name brands at a significantly reduced price.

You may also want to consider looking around on the web for hotel surplus furniture. There is a big market for great pieces and entire sets because they change them so often.

High end furniture requires lots of labor and scarce woods which drive up the price. With that said however I suggest the following. Go to the estate auctions which can be a huge bargain for good quality furniture, and if you are looking for new, head to the furniture outlets in NC. (go to the real ones that are attached to the factories)

I spent all day looking from low end to high end.

The furniture I liked the best was at Boyle's. Definitely high end.

All the rest to me were in the same category: mediocre

Old Colony on Augusta Street.....they just remodeled too.

The area's only Stickley dealer.

Great furniture.....high prices as well.

I"ll admit I don't really know what defines "high end" because well that's not my "style" but I should mention that there is local furniture builder on 290 (out near the Greer campus of Greenville Tech). That might also be called Locust Hill Road. We've looked a few times there but it was out of budget for us maybe that makes it hgih end but it appeared to be extraordinarily high quality.
