So this has come back and it seems SOMETHING will happen.

$495-million expansion of the Dempsey building

It made a big stink when first announced because the other hospitals were concerned about wealthy patients. Now the state and some study are backing it all up and saying it needs to be a combined thing between multiple hospitals so the bickering stops. Regardless, a 300+ bed hospital is BIG BUSINESS.

I think maybe this is one of those threads we keep around to follow its development.

I looked back 7 pages and did not find anything. please merge these up if someone knows something I dont about an earlier post.
