Good/fair auto repair places

Recommended Posts

Can anyone point me in the direction of a good auto repair joint? Preferably one that specializes in at least European cars, but even better would be Audi.

Also, please post any good, or bad experiences you've had with shops in the area. Its tough for us transplants to find a shop thats trustworthy.

Best experience I've had is with a small repair shop downtown called Jim Beam's across from the SunTrust building on McBee. Very honest and friendly service.

There is also a specifically Audi/VW/Porche place on State Park road I've heard good things about, but not had a need for personally. It's called Protech Motorsports.

We have always had good experiences with North Hill Automotive. They make a big deal out of preventive maintenance and offer packages that cater to that. They have several locations in the upstate.

The owner of the company also has a radio show on Sat. mornings.
