GR University Considering Expansion Here

The private university is looking at several sites, including near The Lakes Mall in Fruitport Township, Rob Simpson, Cornerstone's associate provost for professional and graduate studies, confirmed on Wednesday.

"We have met with the (Muskegon Area) Chamber of Commerce," Simpson said. "But we're not ready to commit to anything."

Cornerstone officials are still weighing whether a Muskegon site would be new construction or leased space at an existing building, he said.
