Great photos of the town the stole my heart! It is amazing how much construction is going on in downtown Chicago. It has been non-stop since I lived there (and long before I arrived). It is truly one of the great cities of the world and shows itself off well.

The Loop (so named by the fact that the El Train "loops" around the core of downtown)

The area near Dearborn and Monroe probably has THE largest collection of International Style buildings in existence.

You can stand in one Mies, looking at another Mies (or SOM), with another Mies in the background:

I'm a little upset with Waterview though which has apparently stalled due to financing issues.
