Pretty Place

Only been to Pretty Place once, for a wedding, and the day was spectacular. The view of the valleys and mountains went on for miles and miles. This morning, did some hiking around up near Caesars Head in the fog and decided to check out Pretty Place. The fog was so dense, it was like soup. No views at all, period.....the cross backed only with an endless sea of white mist......kind of creepy. Going to Pretty Place in the cold (it was 51 up at Pretty Place), damp, foggy weather was really kind of eerily fun. It felt very Stephen King. A few pics:

I've been to Caesar's Head a few times where the fog is literally rolling through. It's pretty neat, even if you can't see more than 10 feet.

Seeing Pretty Place in person is on my to-do list.

I got engaged to my wife there. Also, I went to a wedding there with late morning fog rolling through the pews, it had a real nice affect. Just as the ceremony ended the bank of fog moved off. Camp Greenville is a great facility.
