Miscellaneous Aerials of Columbia

22 posts in this topic

I had some requests for additional aerials, so I thought I would put them all in one thread. They were taken last November.

Some of the Lexington area. Note the size of the Corley Lumber site.

Thank you very much! Wonderful pics. Not to be too demanding or picky, but I was wondering - the next time you go up could you get a broad shot of the downtown skyline from West Columbia, taking in everything from Elmwood to Blossom and from the river to say Harden? Thanks a lot!

Wow thanks for sharing these. I have thoroughly enjoyed every one of them. Those pics of VAS remind me that it will probably turn out to be a better development that I have been giving it credit for.

IRR, those are awesome aerials that you've posted for us; I'm sure everyone is grateful that you took the time to share those with me. Is there a public web location where I could refer visitors to my site to view these aerials or should I just refer them to this thread? Thanks.

I use Photobucket.com, but there are plenty of other options. Flickr is a fairly popular one. I think that most of the free ones may have size restrictions, so they will be scaled down somewhat.

Great shots. Do you have any of the Horseshoe / USC campus?

I need to set up a photo page. Is the freewebs.com site that you use pretty user friendly?

^Oh so you've been holding out on us. I see how it is. :)

Photobucket has like 100gb of bandwidth, and its free.

These pictures are so awesome. Really appreciate you sharing these with us. Wow at all that space around Columbia Place. They have a lot of room for expansion or something.
