Texarkana Enjoys Continued Hotel Construction

More rooms and inns are in store for Texarkana. The Crossroads Park on the Ark side of town is adding a Holiday Inn Express and a Best Western. The Holiday Inn Express will be located at the intersection of I-30 and Crossroads Business Park. It will have 100 rooms and expects to open later this year. Microtel Inn is building 2 hotels one on each side of the stateline on the north side of I-30. The Ark location will have 63 rooms and will open later this year. The Tx location will have 83 rooms and construction begins in 2009. Holiday Inn will also construct hotels at Cowhorn Creek Rd, Richmond Rd and near the new university. Candlewood Suites will open on Cowhorn Creek Rd in 2009. If that weren't enough other chains are looking to expand into the Texarkana area.
