North Carolina and the Triad appear to be getting greener and greener. Certainly this benefits the environment

This is a positive step for North Carolina and hopefully it will lead to more "green" jobs in the state. The is will really benefit Davidson County.

Pretty cool. Hopefully they pick the right site- would be sadly ironic if they had to clear a bunch of CO2 consuming trees in order to make space for a field of solar panels.

This definitely would help with peak demand periods too. It would be nice too if they could add something like this to the old coal-fired power plants to supplement the electricity generated there, and maybe help reduce pollution by not having to burn as much coal.
