I drive by this motel 2-3 times per week. In my opinion it is an ugly boil on what otherwise would be a pretty nice area of town. I read somewhere a long time ago about them razing that heap to put in a Walgreens. Anybody know if that is still going to happen? I know a lot of people who think that is a bad area based on that motel alone. I think the sooner it can be gone, the better.

If I'm not mistaken, the city just approved a POD for the Walgreen's development to commence.

Seems the case lately is one Walgreens store doesn't get built alone. Stores at Cantrell/Mississippi and Chenal Pkwy/Wellington Hills have been built nearly in tandem.
