Dick's Sporting Goods which operates throughout the east coast and Ohio Valley (and beyond) has just bought Galyan's, this makes Pittsburgh-based Dick's THE LARGEST SPORTING GOODS RETAILER in the WORLD!

Good news, PNC Financial, the banking giant that operates 774 branches from Kentucky and Indiana to New Jersey and Delaware, is now entering the 5th largest market in the nation with the aquisition of Riggs Bank in the exclusive DC suburbs and city! The combined bank will now operate in 8 states (9 if you count the District of Columbia) and will boast close to 900 branches as far south as Richmond, VA!
