Google added the Streetview feature to several SC cities today. So far the list includes:

Greenville / Greer / Mauldin / Easley

Parts of Spartanbug County (mainly the County West/ Duncan/Campobello) and some NW state roads.

Columbia /Lexington / Irmo / NE Richland / Chapin

Rock Hill / York / Clover / Fort Mill

Google has made a pretty significant update to Streetview. In SC, most of the state's road network is now viewable including rural highways. The biggest gap is in the Upstate. Oconee, Pickens, Anderson, Greenwood, Laurnens, McCormick, Spartanburg, Union, Fairfield, and the lower half of Chester Counties are still missing, as are some more rural roads in the Lowcountry. Still, the coverage is impressive. All of SC's larger cities except Anderson and Spartanburg have StreetView.

I highly recommend downloading Google Earth 5.0. They have added, among other things, historic aerial photos for most of South Carolina. Most cities have them back to 1994 (with various iterations between then and now. However, they go back as far as:

Aiken -1994

Anderson - 1994

Beaufort - 1994

Charleston - 1989

Columbia - 1994

Florence - 1994

Greenville - 1994

Myrtle Beach - 1994

Rock Hill - 1994

Spartanburg - 1994

GoogleMaps has added accident reports for what appears to be all of the SC metro areas (GSP, Columbia, and Charleston). They've also added congestion monitoring to Columbia and Charleston on interstates and major thoroughfares.
