2008 GM Riverdays

Riverdays was awesome last year. Great food, lots of people, music , helicopter rides and the freedom fireworks. It's all happening again this weekend!

Remember if you are watching the fireworks close to the water, get there early. It will get very crowded in both Hart Plaza and the Promenade.

Did they have the helicopter rides again this year? I wanted to do it last year and didn't. I didn't see anything about them...it would've been cool to do once.

They did. And I'm sure they will be back next year.

And of course I missed them again....

Life has dumped a lot of unfortunate things on me lately. I'm working on getting out of my current neighborhood and moving over to the eastside. Provided it all works out, I'll be only 4 blocks from the east riverfront, so there will be no excuse to miss Riverdays next year.
