Wow I did not even know this was under construction yet!! The UF building is coming along really good. Orlando will be not only be know for their theme parks, but also be knowed for a city of medical schools, hospitals, and research. This is big for Orlando, now lets just get the last two venus built, growth in downtown such as resturants, skyscrappers, and maybe even a couple of pro teams like hockey, baseball, or football. Also more growth for I-Drive, and bring some casinos if it gets passed to legalize gambling. Orlando will be an all around city when all this happen, but it will just take some time for it to happen .

The city announced that the US Tennis Association project will have a media day next week. I'm hearing Florida Hospital is planning to be a part of the announcement though not necessarily a direct part of the USTA project. If I had to guess I would say Lake Nona will be unveiling some new developments end partnerships, either at the USTA presser or soon afterwards.

Orlando City just announced they are building a training facility  near the tennis center for the MLS club, the USL club, and the academy.  Fields, gym, clubhouse, offices, and option to buy more land for expansion.  This will move them from Seminole County (where the women's team will take over as a training site).  These two centers (professional tennis + professional soccer) will have a big impact on the area when open, and bring surprisingly high paying jobs with them. Kudos to Tavistock and Lake Nona for thinking outside the box for ways to diversify the medical city area.  Now, if they could only convince the VA to actually open...
