He was suffering from dementia when he passed away and probably had no idea what was going on in the world of politics.

His wife is quoted as saying he has his good days and bad. I have seen dementia patients all of a sudden being of remarkable wit in their last days.

From reading this thread, we've learned that Jesse had a Log Cabin queer advisor and a queer nephew.........even though he called gay people "queers" in his contest with Gov. Jim Hunt.

We've learned that in his last days, Jesse had good days and bad days......I hope he had enough good days to realize N.C. voted for a "niggra" in the primaries.

But did the man EVER have a good day? In the view of this queer, the only good day in Jesse's life was July 4, 2008---the day he stopped polluting our planet with his presence.
