Film School to open in Greenville

Here is a link to the Gville News article about a film school opening in Greenville. Sounds like this will be quite professional, and will enhance both the quality and exposure of the city. I also thought these were some great comments as well:

"According to Timothy Carhart, actor and one of the professors at the Carolina Film Institute, "this is serious training, not play acting."

Shulman says he chose Greenville for the school's location because of the area it's in, as well as the cities surrounding it.

"Greenville has that cosmopolitan size, small enough that someone living there can get a grip on the town, but large enough to support what the students needed," he says. "I almost see it as a regional school."
