Hong Kong handled more cargo than Memphis in the month of June. We may still end up being the busiest cargo airport in the world this year but not for long. FedEx expansion at MEM is underway but it may not be enough with the stagnant US economy and consolidation in the US air cargo industry.

These rankings do not mean much but it always feels good to call yourself no 1 in the world!
