What is this? I was looking at diagrams on the skyscraperpage.com site and noticed this "fantasy" project in Nashville. Does anyone have any idea who proposed this and where it was supposed to go? Seems I remember some on here talking about it, but can't recall much info.

It was a fantasy propagated by "Madam X" who claimed that a developer was going to build a supertall in the Gulch on the "sliver"-like parcel bounded by I40, 12th, and Division. Fantasy at the time (when there was availible credit), absolute fantasy now.

Sorry titanhog, I wasn't trying to bust your chops. I apologize if I came off that way.

It is interesting to go back and read some old threads like that. It seems that someone claimed they knew of a developer about to release renderings of a tall tower that was going in the Gulch when things were really cranking. However, I could find anything else about that project so I assume they were portrayed as a rumor starter and banned. Also, I believe the Silver tower was just a concept from another poster not related to the other rumored project. Can anyone clear this up, 'cause I'm kinda curious myself what happened. It was before my times on the board. Sorry if I stir up an old pot, but things are really slow these days.
