M? I'll probably feel stupid for askng, but what is M?

I've heard they were very upset with Spectrum as they felt the HOA dues they presented were intentionally low and way under budget to get units sold. Last year, as a result, they had to raise dues (not sure the exact amount) around 40% - 50%.

So walking around uptown the other day, I spotted a quite unusual sidewalk along 5th.

Is this the city or the responsibility of the property to have fixed? Seems like it could be a little hazardous to me. Especially to women in high heels or a family with a stroller.

This is pretty typical in that area.....the brick sidewalk in front of Post Uptown Place on Graham is in similar state of undulation......as is Marlborough St in Boston's Back Bay, though they would pick your head on a pike if it was suggested to relay it.....it considered charming, not flawed ;)

Thats probably a sign of the developers skipping out of some process in the base layers of the sidewalk. Settling shouldn't be that bad. There are plenty of other developments around town that have brick sidewalks where this has not happened. Epicentre, Cayalyst, and Trademark come to mind.

Yes but you're talking about a building that was built in 2003 versus buildings built in 07 and 08. Their sidewalks haven't had the chance to have this happen yet, but not saying they will either.

That being said, I walked along this sidewalk with my friend tonight and he didn't see it as a bad thing. He said it had an "old city" kind of feel.
