Via Design to open furniture studio on Grandville Ave

7 posts in this topic

Buried in a Press article today about Ren Zones is a mention that Via Design (AE and furniture design company) is looking at opening a furniture studio on Grandville Ave. Their office is at 44 Grandville, but I wonder if they are looking to open more of a "retail studio"? Anyone know?

Via Design: The plan, if we get approval from the city/county/state, is to 1. move and expand our custom wood furniture studio, 2. enhance our storage and delivery capabilities and enhance our retail furniture business, and 3. add an R&D lab for our new startup, Viable (www.soViable.com). We will keep all of our architecture and interior design services located at 44 Grandville.

Via Design's Ren Zone extension was approved. Here's the building on Grandville that they will renovate:

Just to give you an idea where it's located:

Can't wait to see the transformation!
