Some good news. 120 jobs is huge for such a small town. It would be significant in a city Lansing's size, let alone a small town like Williamston.

Tri-State Moving Headquarters to Williamston

WILLIAMSTON - A Howell medical supplies maker plans to build a corporate headquarters on the south side of Williamston, bringing nearly 120 jobs into Ingham County.

Privately owned Tri-State Centurion plans to move into a new two-story, 72,270-square-foot building off Linn Road by fall 2009, President Tom Archipley II said.

"We've simply outgrown our Howell facility," said Archipley, the second generation of his family to run the company.

Tri-State Centurion, which makes and sells medical supplies to hospitals and other health care facilities, was founded in 1960.
